As the temperature rises and the weather begins to melt anything left outside too long, people start cooking meals outdoors. Flesh is charred and smothered with deliciousness in a time honored tradition known as the “BBQ”. This great American past-time has inspired Raquel to recommend the “best BBQ sauce EVER!” I’ve uploaded a video to the website with her suggestion for lip-smacking yummy-ness and the steps required for a terrific BBQ marinade:

I was trying to do the right thing! Raquel and I had met up with some other friends for a concert at shoreline amphitheater in the south bay and decided it would be prudent to get a hotel room around the corner from the venue. We could take a taxi and not have to worry about getting a DUI! Earlier in the evening we arrived at the hotel and began drinking at the bar. Several drinks into a classic weekend binge, Juan said, “let’s call the taxi and get over to the Dave Matthew’s show”. Taking a well deserved vacation, Raquel and I decided to take our good friend Will up on an invitation to party it up at the Summer solstice festival in ....Santa Barbara..... We set up a couple acoustic Abandon Theory shows for the ride down and were supposed to be performing on both Saturday and Sunday at the festival.
