08.30.08 - The Cozmic Cafe in Placerville, CA. The last couple shows have been off the hook!!! Sir Captain Jhon (banjo and percussion) is in town and will be playing with us in Point Reyes at the Old Western Saloon and at The Cozmic Cafe in Placerville on Saturday. We have had several people comment on the band's sound after the last show he played with us and I'm hoping it wasn't just the acid talking. Everybody said the banjo was an awesome addition, but you really should decide for youself... We are now on iTunes with Songs and Ringtones We played Davis last night at Woodstock's and it was really rocking! This lady at one point....well I guess I shouldn't tell the world that one. Anyway, we've got some really cool shows coming up!! You guys have got to hear Eric play the electric! I've almost fallen over several times. Yes I was drinking, but that's not the point. Hope you can make it out. 08.09.08 - Marco's Cafe in Lotus, CA. By the river about and hour out of Sacramento. Marco's has great food with a good price and we will be playing outside on the deck from 6:30 - 10PM. The show is ALL AGES and totally free! 08.15.08 - The Blue Lamp in Sacramento, CA. This will be an awesome show with Ardra opening up around 9:30PM and we play in the middle. Then Out of Place will be rocking the rest of the evening. If you haven't had a chance to hear these other bands, you really should make the effort to come out on August 15th! Out of Place puts on an excellent high engergy show and so does Ardra!!! There is a $7 cover charge and it's 21 and over. Abandon Theory is rockin' a unique blend of rock, reggae, and funk!!! The boys from Northern Cali are once again entertaining crowds with an improvisational technique only suited to a band with such a name. Abandon Theory has been touring the west coast with drummer Potent Joe and Mr. Burns shouting orders over the driving bass lines of Brother Jim while Eric wails away on his electric. There are only a couple more shows this year as anticipation grows for a third album to be recorded this winter! |
